By the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 90 dated February 3, 2025, amendments have been made to the current Fire Safety Regulations in the Russian Federation, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 1479 dated September 16, 2020 (hereinafter referred to as PPB RF No. 1479).

We would like to draw attention to the changes related to the products of JSC "Pozhtechnika": 

• Buildings and structures, specifically production and warehouse premises with an area exceeding 500 square meters, must be additionally equipped with portable fire extinguishers (paragraph 406 of PPB RF No. 1479);

• The use of special stands for fire extinguishers, which prevent them from falling or tipping over, made from combustible materials, is now permitted (paragraph 409 of PPB RF No. 1479);

• A minimum fire rating (not lower than 2A) has been established for fire extinguishers that should be provided in parts of a building (room) designated for the placement of clergy during worship services (paragraph 419 of PPB RF No. 1479);

• The bucket, water storage container with a volume of 0.02 cubic meters, hand pump, and hose have been removed from the standard equipment list for fire stand points of type ShPP (Appendix No. 7 to PPB RF No. 1479).

Please note that all amendments will come into force on September 1, 2025.
